What to expect from a Feng Shui consultation with Susan McDowell
- You will receive a short questionnaire regarding your home/business along with a Letter of Agreement, to be returned to A Fine Balance before our meeting.
- On arrival, I will assess any site issues before entering. We will discuss any concerns or questions you may have before touring your space.
- All areas of a home affect the flow of energy, so I will need to see your garage (if attached) and basement as well. Do not feel obligated to clean.
- I will prepare a sketch floor plan of the space and apply the Bagua to it. (It is very helpful if you already have plans.)
- I will record your consultation in mp3 format and you are free to take notes. You may wish to purchase a package which would provide a written set of comments detailing my recommendations for each gua with an emphasis on areas that are of particular concern.
- Residential consultations start for as little as $200 depending on the size of space. Please enquire for details of packages and business rates.
- Payment is due at the end of a residential consultation.
- Recommendations for Feng Shui cures take many forms. For example, I may suggest moving the furniture within a room or ask you to reassess the function of a space. There can be recommendations relating to lighting, colour, artwork and the placement of mirrors. I may suggest the use of a Feng Shui crystal.
- In all cases the recommendations are geared to the comfort and style of the client and the client is free to accept or reject any advice.
- The first on-site consultation or plan review is scheduled for a minimum of two hours.
